Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of Twixem AI — the mobile applications, the web application at app.twixemai.com, and this website. By creating an account you accept them.
1. The service
Twixem AI generates study material — quizzes, flashcards, summaries and tutoring responses — from documents you provide. Generation uses automated language models.
Generated content can be wrong. It is a study aid, not an authoritative source. Always check anything that matters against your course material. We do not guarantee that generated content is accurate, complete or suitable for any particular exam.
2. Your account
You must provide a valid email address and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity on your account. One account per person; accounts may not be shared or resold.
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent in your country if it is higher.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of everything you upload. You grant us only the limited licence needed to store your documents and generate study material from them, for you.
We do not use your documents to train AI models — ours or anyone else's.
You confirm that you have the right to upload what you upload. Do not upload material you are not permitted to copy.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use Twixem AI to:
- Cheat in an examination where outside assistance is prohibited
- Generate or distribute unlawful, harmful or infringing material
- Reverse-engineer the service or circumvent usage limits
- Access the service by automated means outside a published API
- Resell generated content as your own product
We may suspend accounts that breach these rules.
5. Subscriptions and payment
Twixem AI offers a free plan with daily limits, and a paid Pro plan billed monthly or yearly. Prices are shown before purchase and may vary by country.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You are charged at the start of each period.
Where you cancel depends on where you subscribed: on iPhone through Apple, on Android through Google Play, and on the web through the link in your confirmation email. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period already paid for.
Refunds are handled by whichever store processed your payment, under its own policy.
6. Availability
We aim to keep the service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Features may change, and we may discontinue features with reasonable notice.
7. Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account. Deletion removes your documents, quizzes, decks and history. It does not automatically cancel a subscription bought through a store — cancel that separately, as described in section 5.
8. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Twixem AI is provided “as is”. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including examination results, lost study time or lost data. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
